Hello peeps!
This year had loads in store for me – loads of changes, not all of them bad. A lot has happened, but one very exciting thing is coming in less than two weeks!
As some people here might know, I am part of an amazing german community on Discord, among other platforms, that’s based on a WhatsApp group, which is based on the YouTube Channel of my best friend, Cookiemagination. Said WhatsApp group celebrates 10 years on the 16th of December 2025!
I am thrilled about this milestone and the team and I have been working hard to make this special occasion worth remembering. Between Pen and Paper, a murder mystery and other surprises, Maurice Zimmermann and I have just finished a song celebrating the years we’ve enjoyed together.
It’s called „Hebt die Gläser hoch!“ and translates to „Raise your glasses!“. As you can guess from the title, the lyrics are in german, which was interesting, stepping out of my comfort zone like that. Even though german is my mother tongue, I hardly ever write german songs. Ironic, innit?
We’ve been working on this song for a few months and are stoked about the result, as I hope you will be as well.
